‘The playing is well-poised and the ensemble excellent’…..’the articulation is very nicely together’…’she plays with a nicely confident dexterity’
Early Music Review

‘There is something refreshingly eager in the playing throughout the entire CD that even those who find Bach’s polyphony cold and detached must surely enjoy. It is full of contrast: the fast movements, excitingly driven by the harpsichord, sound and feel fast, almost on the verge of being out of control, yet skilfully managing to bring one safely home; and the slow movements, which at certain moments are so slow that one finds oneself holding one’s breath. The ensemble between the two players remains faultless and poised. There are several recordings of these sonatas that one might choose; but this one will not disappoint.’
